He served NTDC for over 36 years and retired as General Manager. In 1982
he joined WAPDA as Assistant Director (Inspection). He executed his
obligations for almost 12 years as SDO (GSC) South, (WAPDA) Hyderabad. He
served for 4 years as Executive Engineer (EHV) Construction Division
Lahore and for 1 year in S & I as well. For two (02) years of
deputation at NPCC (Saudia Arabia) as Senior Engineer, performed his
obligation against construction of 380kV Transmission Line from Makkah to
Taif and 380kV In & Out arrangement at Khulais Substation. Six years’
experience as Executive Engineer GC Division Lahore for construction of
66kV to 132kV Transmission Line and Grid Station Projects in Lahore
region. Three years of experience as Project Director EHV-II NTDC Multan
for management and construction of 220kV to 500kV Transmission Line and
Grid Station Projects in Multan and Southern region. Three years’
experience as Chief Engineer EHV-II NTDC Hyderabad for management and
construction of 220kV to 500kV Transmission Line and Grid Station Projects
across the country.

He served WAPDA/LESCO/PEPCO for 39 years and retired as General
Manager. He remained posted as Chief Executive Officer LESCO and
General Manager PEPCO. He joined WAPDA in 1979 as Sub Divisional
Officer. He remained posted as SDO Construction, Street Light, and
various Sub Divisions of Operation. He served as Executive Engineer
Operation, M&T, Deputy Director Planning, Commercial, M&O,
Inventory Control & Commercial Surveillance. As Superintending
Engineer, he served as SE GSO, & SE Operation. He Served as Chief
Engineer T&G & Technical Director LESCO. He has vast experience
of Distribution, Operation, Construction, Grid Stations and Transmission
Lines maintenance.

Practicing professional Engineer since 1970 has served in LDA water wing
Lahore and Kano State Urban Development Board, Nigeria, Consultant to
WAPDA on Dasu Dam Hydropower Project and Project Manager with BARQAAB
Consulting Services on Third Party Monitoring Project of Irrigation
Department Punjab. As Founder Member of Nespak, as Vice President,
Construction Management Division. He has been working at the top
management positions both as Supervisory Consultant and as
the Engineer of the Projects, dealing with the Funding Agencies
namely, World Bank (IDA}, Asian Development Bank, USAID, JBIC (JICA) and
KfW (FIDIC). Work experience is both in Pakistan and Overseas (Nigeria,
Azerbaijan and Thailand).
